Utensile has developed AR glasses and VR headset products for our customers for years, and we have actively used virtual reality simulation as part of our design process since 2017. Room-scale products that live in homes or around vehicles are a natural fit for VR prototyping and simulation. Exploring the guts of a small consumer electronics product that has been scaled-up to the size of a cathedral can also lead to some surprising and meaningful insights. Virtual reality provides a different perspective.
